The Purpose of Campbell University’s Fraternity and Sorority Life Standards of Excellence (SOE) is to assess each chapter’s performance based on the six pillars of Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL): Scholarship and Learning, Leadership and Values, Philanthropy and Service, Safety and Risk Management, Brotherhood and Sisterhood, and Diversity and Inclusion. As well as being able to accomplish four fundamental objectives:
- To compile and present everything your chapter has done over the past calendar year.
- Ensure that students involved in Fraternity & Sorority Life receive a well-rounded fraternal experience.
- To recognize high-performing chapters and identify areas of development for underperforming chapters.
- To measure the impact of the fraternity/sorority community on Campus.
Standards of Excellence Status:
Each chapter will be assigned a status based on points earned and internal evaluations by the Student Involvement office. A chapter will be given one of four statuses. The following outlines the requirements for chapters to maintain their excellence status. There are 90 possible points for each semester.
