About

The Campbell Youth Theological Institute (CYTI) is where high school students can go to explore connections of faith and work, develop Christ-like character, and discover language for vocational living. At CYTI we seek to have guiding conversations and experiences to discern who God is calling us to be as individuals, and what God could be calling us to do as active participants in Christ’s redemptive work in the world.

During this one-week residential experience (July 13-19, 2025), students join peers asking similar questions to study with faculty, explore career opportunities through job shadows, practice community engagement through service-learning, have fun using campus facilities to play, and so much more!

FAQs

The heart of CYTI is to help students develop language at the intersection of how God has made them, and what God could be calling them into as far as their work in the world. CYTI is a one-week residential camp where students learn alongside peers, college mentors, and university faculty and staff.

High school students who have completed their freshman year of high school through recent high school graduates from the class of 2025 are eligible to apply for Summer 2025.

CYTI 2025 is scheduled for July 13th-19th, 2025

On the campus of Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.  Participants will stay in Campbell University housing during their time at CYTI.

The total cost for one student is $350 (covers all costs associated with CYTI!). 

Upon acceptance into the program, a $100 non-refundable deposit is due to secure your spot.  

Participants are responsible for their own travel costs to and from Buies Creek, North Carolina.

Scholarships are available, so please do not let the cost deter you from applying.  We are committed to working with students to make the program accessible to all.
