Campbell ID Cards
The Campbell ID is the official identification card for Campbell University. All students, faculty and staff should have their Campbell ID with them while on our campuses. Your Campbell ID is much more than your student ID, you’ll use it for many things!
Things You’ll Need Your Campbell ID For
- Access a residence hall, office, or building.
- Purchase goods or services at participating off-campus merchant locations.
- Use meal plan swipes at on-campus dining facilities.
- Pay to print or make a copy in computer labs and at print stations.
- Entrance to athletic events or other activities.
- Check out materials from the Libraries.
- Access fitness centers.
Obtaining Your Campbell ID
Creating your ID Photo
Your photo is the most vital part of the submission process. We want the best YOU displayed on your Campbell ID, and we also want to be sure we can clearly identify you. The Campbell ID Office generally follows the U.S. Passport image guidelines as outlined by the United States Department of State. For example, you shouldâŠ
- Be the only person visible with no props present
- Take your photo within 6 months of your submission
- Face forward and aim your chin straight (no side profiles)
- Look directly into the camera
- Do not use hand gestures
- Make sure your face is clearly visible (no shadows)
- Use a solid white or off-white background (without a crease or pattern)
- Do not wear sunglasses, hats, graduation caps, gowns or costumes
- If wearing eyeglasses, be sure there is no glare or reflection.
- Do not edit the photo or add any filters or effects.
- The image should be square, centered and composed to include only the head and shoulders.

Instructions to Submit Photo for ID Card
- Upon being accepted as a new Campbell student, your information will be given to the ID Team from Admissions. You will be enrolled in Campbellâs Online Photo Submission so you can upload your photo for your ID card. You will receive an email from âCampbell University Online Photo Submissionâ with a link to send in your ID photo. Be sure to follow the requirements as stated above.
- If your photo is accepted, you will be able to pick up your ID at Orientation before the start of the semester. If it is not acceptable, you will receive a follow-up email, allowing you to submit a new photo.
- If you are accepted after Orientation and have not received an email from Online Photo Submission, but would like to submit a photo for your ID, please contact the Admissions office. They will provide your information to the ID Card Team, and you will receive an email to submit a photo for your ID card. You can also visit the ID Card Center to have your photo taken in person.
- Once classes begin for the semester, the Online Photo Submission process will end, and you are invited to visit the ID Card Center to have your photo taken in person.

Images submitted to the Campbell ID Office will be used on ID Cards for identification purposes and in certain university applications. *Images may be reproduced for the Pine Burr Yearbook. Those students who do not want their image to be included in the yearbook should email cupineburr@gmail.com. We reserve the right to refuse any image that does not adhere to the standards outlined.
Lost Stolen ID Cards
If you have lost your student ID card, please submit this form to have the card re-printed and waiting for you at the ID card center. Please note. A $15 charge will be added to your student account for each replacement card.Â
You will be notified when your ID is ready to be picked up.Â
If you have a faulty or expired card, do not submit this form. Instead, please follow the instructions below:
- If your card does not work for meals, please contact the Business office at 910-893-1244
- If your card does not work for door access, please contact your card access manager first.Â
- Main Campus: Examples: Residence Life, your program administrator, or your coach. If you are not able to contact your access manager then contact helpdesk@campbell.edu
- Raleigh Campus: contact lawhelpdesk@campbell.eduÂ
- If your card is expired, please contact your IT Helpdesk.
- Main Campus: Bring your card to the ID Center in Bryan Hall for replacement or contact helpdesk@campbell.edu
- Raleigh Campus: Bring your card to Room 432 or contact lawhelpdesk@campbell.edu
- If your card is not working to print, please contact your IT Helpdesk.
