IT Service’s Digital Media team and the University’s Communications & Marketing department are committed to helping provide video services to support the recruitment, marketing and communication needs of Campbell University.
All video requests are subject to videographer availability at the requested time. Please place requests at least one week in advance of the shoot whenever possible, and allow 10 business days for turnaround unless otherwise indicated.
All videos posted on campbell.edu websites must be captioned. Captioning generally takes 3 business days.
Video Process
General Campus Videography
- The Digital Media Services team will receive requests and work with campus clients to schedule campus video shoots.
Marketing Videography
- Any marketing videos, both internal and external, must be pre-approved by the University Communication & Marketing Office. Videos must represent the university and meet our quality, brand and design standards.
- If working with an external vendor, the campus client must receive approval prior to engagement in a contract or commitment.

Video/Photo Release Forms
If you are planning to use an individual’s image or likeness in media such as photographs, video, etc., you should request written permission to do so. Releases also should be completed and signed by any talent working with companies or individuals performing photography, video or audiotape on university premises. Use the form below.

When are release forms necessary?
People often ask whether they need to get a release to use images of individuals, audiences, crowd shots at events, etc. The answer is that you should obtain a release from any individual who is personally identifiable in the image/video/audio.
