Please view the steps below and our detailed Transfer Guide for more information about transferring to Campbell University.
1. Review the admissions application requirements.
A good first step is to review the admissions requirements specific to your transfer status and gather all of the required documents you will need to successfully submit your application. Below are detailed application requirements and deadlines to help you prepare your application.
An applicant is considered to be a transfer student if they have completed any number of college credit hours after their official high school graduation date.
Campbell University does not require a minimum number of hours in order to transfer.
Transfer students must be in good academic and social standing at the school from which they are transferring. A transfer student will be considered on the basis of their overall college record.
- Work attempted and/or completed at the two-year institutions may receive up to 90 hours of credit.
- Applicants from four-year institutions do not have a limit on the number of hours that will transfer. These courses will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
In order to earn a bachelor’s degree from Campbell, a student must complete the final 32 hours at Campbell University, and 12 of those hours must be upper-level (300-400) courses.
How can I know which of my credits will transfer to the University?
Once you have applied, the Admissions Office will send your transcripts to the Registrar’s Office to have a “Transcript Evaluation” performed.
This evaluation will determine which of your credits will transfer, as well as the courses they’ll serve to replace here at Campbell.
