About University Accounting
The University Accounting Department is responsible for all financial reporting and records. We are composed of several business units working collectively and collaboratively to provide accurate, timely and efficient administration, accounting, analytical and financial reporting services to the Campbell University community while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, federal and state laws and regulations.
We strive to serve the university community in a professional and efficient manner by providing financial and administrative guidance to achieve the goals of the University through exemplary service with the highest level of ethical, professional support and by timely processing financial transactions and providing accounting and financial management services for the president, the senior administration and department heads.
The Finance & Administration Office oversees and reviews the activities of the University Accounting Department on a yearly basis. The review entails working with the offices within the department to identify our current areas of responsibility, personnel assignments, staff education and experience levels, and our reporting processes and procedures. The goal of this review is to assure we are following best practices for a university of our size and complexity and that we have the proper personnel in place to meet all federal, state, and institutional reporting requirements.
