For six consecutive years, Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc. in its annual publication America’s 100 Best College Buys has recognized Campbell University as one of the nation’s best educational values. When comparing Campbell’s tuition, fees and living expenses, it is apparent our affordability and value separate us from the others. Campbell’s tuition is consistently one of the lowest among the private universities in North Carolina and the entire Southeast.
Our Office of Financial Aid is committed to helping students meet their educational goals and objectives. That’s why we offer extensive financial aid resources. Approximately 88 percent of Campbell students receive some form of financial aid from a wide range of sources. The range of sources include merit-based scholarships, grants, need-based aid, loans, opportunities for student employment, and a deferred payment plan.
We have a long-standing tradition of awarding academic excellence through our Presidential and Scott-Ellis Scholarships. Students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability are rewarded for their hard work. These scholarships are based on GPA and SAT or ACT. The scholarships vary in value to a maximum of $15,000 per year.
- The Campbell Grant is available to students whose academic records fall slightly outside the parameters of the Presidential and Scott-Ellis scholarships. Campbell Grants are $5,000 per year.
- International students are not eligible for federal or state grants or loans; however, academically gifted international students may qualify for International Merit Scholarships.
- Merit-based scholarships are automatically determined by the Admissions Office when you apply.
To be eligible for financial aid consideration, generally you must be enrolled full time in a degree program and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. To continue receiving aid, you must be making satisfactory academic progress.
Investing in a college education is a major financial decision, and many students and their families need to look beyond their own resources for assistance. Let us help you.
