Campbell University Undergraduate Admissions would like to congratulate future camels Laura Schnoor and Wyatt Garrison– our fall Full-Tuition Scholarship winners.

Meet the Winners

Wyatt Garrison // Sanford, Florida

For Wyatt Garrison, winning this scholarship means he has access to the amazing educational opportunities awaiting him at Campbell. A future Pre-Pharmacy major, Garrison chose Campbell University because of the incredible Pharmacy program, the university’s Christian backgrounds and smaller class sizes.

“Without this incredible scholarship, I would never have been able to attend such an amazing school like Campbell,” he said. “It means much less pressure in finding the money to pay for tuition and fewer student loans, accompanied with an excellent education.”

Garrison added that he is looking forward to learning as much as he can about a subject that interests him.

“I can’t wait to get to Campbell and start studying chemistry, biology, anatomy, and so many other intriguing fields of science,” he shared. “I’m also really looking forward to meeting new people who are interested in the same things I am.”

In the future, Garrison plans to attend graduate school to earn a master’s in Public Health and a doctorate in Pharmacy. After that, he aspires to work in a hospital, preferably with contagious diseases.

“Following graduate school, I would love to enroll in the CDC's two-year applied epidemiology program and work for the CDC in Epidemiology and management of contagious diseases,” he said. “I would also love to work in research and development, particularly towards finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.”

Laura Schnoor // Apex, North Carolina

Laura Schnoor plans on majoring in Biology Pre-Physician Assistant. Schnoor chose Campbell University because of all the colleges she considered, she felt Campbell could best prepare her for PA school and her future career.

“I am also very impressed by everything I have heard about the faculty and students at Campbell,” she said.

According to Schnoor, who aspires to become a Physician Assistant in a family doctor or pediatrician’s office, Campbell has always been her top choice, but before winning the scholarship, she did not think she could afford to attend.

“This scholarship is an answer to prayer, and I am excited to see everything God has planned for me at Campbell,” she said. I am so thankful for the support of my family and friends and thankful to Campbell for this opportunity.”

When asked what she is most looking forward to about attending the university, Schnoor said she is excited about becoming a part of the Campbell community.

“I am really looking forward to being involved in both Campbell’s academic setting and student life,” she said. “I am also excited to learn more and become involved in the science-related clubs.”
